Windows 7 OS users may encounter several OS related problems, such as Windows 7's instability, the appearance of system's error notifications or system's slow performance, etc. Such problems may be due to the conflicts among applications, drivers or user's system has been infected with virus which may have deleted, modified or corrupted system files or Windows' file configuration. In some cases, users themselves accidentally delete or modify the system's file or system's parameters.

To solve the above mentioned problems, users may have their Windows 7 operating system reinstalled. However, reinstallation is often accompanied with backup of personal information, data saved on system disks as well as reinstallation of drivers, applications, system parameters reset and working environment restoration, etc. This process may be time consuming; it may take hours, days or even weeks to complete.

Windows 7's upgrade function can help overcome such problems by reinstalling Windows 7 OS, saving user's data and working environment without causing the loss of already-installed programs.
