The latest variant of COVID-19 has appeared with the mutation of VACCINE RESISTANCE. The concern about the pandemic has happened!

The variant B.1.526 appeared for the first time in New York, containing a mutation called E484K, which reduces the ability of the immune system to neutralize the virus, helping the virus partially dodge the COVID-19 vaccine.

With this development, I think mass vaccination needs to be carefully considered, because it is not possible to maintain annual vaccination for all people. Especially, we have effective measures to fight against COVID-19 today.

Vaccine will be more suitable for countries that have been "collapsed" such as the US or India. Even when they vaccinate the whole country, it is hard for them to be like Vietnam today and they still have to apply prevention measures.

The problem is that Vietnam needs to optimize existing solutions in order to minimize the number of people being isolated, to both fight the pandemic effectively and to live normally.
