  • How to block SMS spams and calls with Bkav Pro Mobile?

    Answer:

    Case 1: With advertising spams sent from different phone numbers, the Smart Filter equipped in the software will automatically block completely. Besides, you can also block messages by keyword appearing in content without depending on the sending phone number (content filtering). To get rid of them, you just need to enter keywords in the content filtering such as "Ads", "sim sale", "bet", "sake", "fortune-telling", etc. All messages containing these keywords will be blocked.

    To add a keyword to your content filtering, go to "Block SMS spams" -> "Block by content":

    Case 2: If you are bothered by a certain phone number, you can use the feature of blocking by blacklist - Blacklist of Bkav Pro Mobile. This feature will help you block all messages and calls from that number. To put a phone number on the blacklist, go to "Block call spam" -> "Blacklist"

  • How do find my phone when it is stolen?

    Answer:

    The first thing you should do when you lose your phone is to determine the current location of the phone, by using the backup phone number to text the lost phone number with the syntax: "Coordinates Password" (in which, Password is the password to use Bkav Pro Mobile that you have set). Immediately after receiving messages from the lost phone, visit the website mobile.bkav.com, enter the exact coordinates to know the current location of the lost phone on map.

    You can rest assured that as soon as the bad guy replaces another SIM card into your phone, Bkav Pro Mobile will automatically send a message notifying the phone number of the new SIM card just replaced to the backup phone number you have registered.

  • How to delete phone data remotely when stolen?

    Answer:

    You use the backup phone number (registered when installing the software), to send a message to the lost phone number with the syntax: "Delete Password" (in which, Password is the password to use Bkav Pro Mobile that you have set). The software will immediately delete all important data on the lost device, including: messages, contacts, call logs, data on the memory card.

    If you have backed up messages and contacts to Bkav server, you can rest assured that you can completely restore these data.

  • I want to know which software on my phone can automatically send messages?

    Answer:

    You can use the “Banking transaction protection” feature of Bkav Pro Mobile. This feature will show you a list of software installed on your phone that are capable of automatically sending messages.

  • How to backup, restore contacts and messages?

    Answer:

    You can back up: Messages, Contacts, Call logs to a memory card or Bkav server, simply by pressing the button “Data Backup”:

    Answer:

    You can use the feature "Block call spams" of Bkav Pro Mobile to set the desired mode for night, meeting, weekend, etc. To set up, go to "Block call spams" -> "Avoid disturbing"
