The Da Nang International Fireworks Festival 2025, taking place from late May through July, is currently being exploited by cybercriminals to carry out a variety of online scams.

Posing as travel agencies, scammers have created fake fan pages to promote: “discounted” fireworks tour packages, festival ticket sales, and cheap hotel bookings. Claiming that tickets and accommodations are in short supply, they pressure users to place a deposit—typically 30–50%—to secure their spot. Once the payment is made, the scammers immediately cut off contact.

Many individuals have been deceived and lost substantial sums of money while booking trips for their families—after trusting fake websites that closely mimic the festival’s official site, complete with forged invoices and payment receipts that appear legitimate.
