The link https://momopro[.]info/22w2or is created by bad guys, leading to a website with an interface similar to the real MoMo app. The bad guys send this link to users via Facebook Messenger, announcing the winning code from MoMo Pro and tricking them into clicking on the link, downloading the app to receive the reward.

After the victims download MoMo Pro, which is actually a fake app, the bad guys lure them into participating in "investment funds", promising that each time they deposit money to participate in a transaction, they will receive "huge interest", up to 50% of the invested capital. Many people fall into the trap, depositing hundreds of millions of VND as requested. But when it comes to withdrawing money, the system reports an error and requires them to continue depositing money before they can withdraw the investment amount. In fact, the victims cannot get back the money they transferred into the trap set by the bad guys. MoMo does not have any applications called MoMo Pro or similar investment programs.

Experts recommend that, to protect themselves, users absolutely:

Do not click on strange links of unknown origin

Do not download applications from unofficial sources (other than App Store, CH Play), even if the interface is familiar

Do not participate in groups calling for investment with unusually high interest rates online

Always be wary of super-profitable investment invitations because they are often scam traps
