These range from enticing patients to purchase medicines of unknown origin and promising expedited medical examinations to impersonating doctors and healthcare staff. Bad actors even use the hospital's name to approach individuals, build trust, and subsequently demand personal information to appropriate assets. Citizens need to be particularly vigilant against solicitations, phone calls, text messages, and social media accounts claiming to represent the hospital.

Bkav cybersecurity experts advise citizens:

• When needing to register for medical examinations, pay hospital fees, or receive test results, do so directly at the hospital's official departments.

• Do not transfer money or provide personal information to unverified accounts.

• Be vigilant with advertisements claiming guaranteed cures for severe illnesses, especially chronic diseases or cancer.

• Upon identifying suspicious individuals, solicitations, or signs of fraud, patients and their relatives should promptly notify security personnel, contact the hospital's hotline, or immediately report to authorities for timely assistance.
