Bkav supports SMEs in digital transformation in 2022

On March 24, in Hanoi, Bkav participated in the signing ceremony of cooperation in supporting small and medium enterprises in digital transformation 2022. The event is within the framework of the Conference to promote the Program to support small and medium enterprises in digital transformation (SMEdx) 2022 organized by Vietnam’s Ministry of Information and Communications. The conference was chaired by Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Huy Dung, attended by Mr. Nguyen Trong Duong, Deputy Director General in charge of the Department of Enterprise Management and representatives of 27 businesses with excellent digital platforms.

Overview of the Conference

Bkav participated in the program with the product Digital Transformation Platform for Enterprise Administration Bkav Vala, a total suite of solutions developed by Bkav. The suite is to help enterprises fully transform digitally with an ecosystem of Bkav VALA Work Social Network, Bkav eGov Electronic Document Software, Bkav eTask Scheduling and Task Management Software, Bkav eMeeting Online Meeting Solution, and AI View Smart Camera Solution, etc.

Speaking at the Conference, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Huy Dung said: "The most basic factor of digital transformation is digital platform. Digital platform is a breakthrough solution for us to popularize digital technology into a service and turn digital technology into inputs in production such as electricity, water, etc. to pay as much as you use. At that time, we will have a successful digital transformation because the digital technology has permeated all production and business activities."

The Ministry of Information and Communications said that in 2022, it will continue to promote the program to support 30,000 small and medium enterprises in digital transformation. In addition, enterprises will receive financial support for digital transformation from the budget. Specifically, according to Decree 80/2021/ND-CP detailing and guiding the implementation of a number of articles of the Law on Support for Small and Medium Enterprises, enterprises will receive 50% support if they rent or purchase digital transformation platforms and solutions certified and announced by the Ministry of Information and Communications.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Huy Dung said that in 2022, to support small and medium enterprises in digital transformation, the Ministry of Information and Communications will strive with 63/63 localities to effectively implement this program. At the same time, it will form a digital economy consulting network and organize a network of community digital technology groups to the commune level to have contacts to support the people in implementation.
