Late December 2019, in Hanoi, Vietnam Ministry of Information and Communications officially launched the Vietnam Union for Development of Cyber Security Product Ecosystem. The Union had the participation of Bkav Corporation and 20 other enterprises in the field of cyber security.

The Vietnam Union for Development of Cyber Security Product Ecosystem was established with the aim of strengthening the cyber security in order to server e-government, smart cities and national important information systems.

Sharing the establishment of the Union, the Authority of Information Security, Ministry of Information and Communications, said the products of union-members will be compatible and interconnected, the comprehensive solution for e-government, smart cities and national important information systems. Enterprises are also committed to accompanying each other in protecting the information systems of Vietnam.

Joining the Union, members are responsible for researching and producing Vietnam's cyber information security products and platform products by 08 product groups, including: Security products for terminals; Network layer safety products; Application layer safety products; Data protection products; Group of solutions oriented to develop in the form of service provision; Browser products; Data sharing and integrating platform products; Cloud computing platform products serving e-government. The objective is to establish a ecosystem of Vietnam cyber information security products that meets standards and quality, meets the domestic demand and step by step exports to the world.
