Bphone 2 circuit board is manufactured at the factory of Apple partner

On July 27, the official fanpage of Bphone posted a number of photos and clips with captions: "CEO Nguyen Tu Quang inspects factories before the launch of Bphone 2". In which, Mr. Quang in a white uniform and a mask was considering the smartphone production line. The clip also recorded the image of a robot system producing circuit boards.

kav media representative confirmed, these videos and photos were taken at Meiko Electronics Vietnam factory in Thach That Industrial Park (Hanoi). Meiko is a Japanese company specializing in manufacturing PCBs and many of their customers are large electronics firms such as Apple, Samsung, Panasonic, Fuji Xerox, etc. Meiko currently has four factories in Japan, two in China and a factory in Vietnam (since 2006).

Mr. Nguyen Tu Quang (second from left) was considering the circuit printing for Bphone 2.

Mr. Nguyen Tu Quang said Bphone contained more than 900 components from hundreds of partners, but only 0.9% of which was from Hong Kong and China and all were not important details.

Bphone 2015 used Sharp screen, but because in the middle of 2016, this brand was sold to Foxconn (China), Bkav decided to switch the screen from Korea.

Bphone 2 frame is being completed at Bkav's mechanical factory in My Dinh (Hanoi).

Bphone 2 will be launched on August 8 at the Hanoi National Convention Center. It has a 5.5-inch screen, runs BOS operating system on Android 7.1 platform, supports 4G connectivity and uses USB Type-C connection instead of 3.5 mm port.
